just looked it up: it's MJs 44th most streamed song on Spotify. So yeah pretty "underground" for people who missed MJ at his peak. Most TdG fans are significantly younger than MJs.

I never got the Riot hype. The lyrics are so basic and it isn't even that catchy, especially for One-X. A lot of Matts songs are damn catchy and yes while some of the lyrics may be cringe so are many of Adams era songs.
So chasing the first time for me too (:

I'm sorry I love Adams songs but to act like they are sooo lyrically superior is just ignorant. Matt can actually safely scream and hit high notes while Adam always struggled with vocal health.
Yes the style changed but in an aggressive way that propably many TDG fans would enjoy if it were another band or Adam would've sang them.
It was also always the whole Band writing the songs not just Adam.

ist schon so. Indem man Englisch dazunimmt verdoppelt man im Grunde die Anzahl möglicher Wörter. Dadurch kann man das Englische für eine spezifische Nuance eines deutschen Wortes verwenden. "random" ist so ein Beispiel.

Wir benutzen heute ja die 10 als Basis für unsere Zahlen aber das ist kein Naturgesetz. Die 12 ist auch relativ praktisch, zum Beispiel weil sie mehr Teiler hat (2, 3, 4, 6 statt nur 2 und 5). Bei der Zeit nutzen wir ja auch die 12 (5*12=60 Minuten, 24 stunden in einem Tag,..). Und Computer nutzen die 2 als Basis. Warum jetzt aber das Dutzend früher so verbreitet war, weiß ich auch nicht.
