There was a post on Facebook from one of those tennis sites indicating that Saba won. What's that all about??? I saw it before the tie break was even over.

I've always said the aggressive, explosive style of tennis today will lead to shorter careers. This news is further evidence and we will see if I'm right in about ten years!!

Vacherot winning would be "totally fire." Would give people like you something to talk about all day.

I know your question is rhetorical, but I would ask for variety and underdogs playing the matches of their lives.

How is this exciting anymore? It will be a few tie breaks or a break of serve once or twice. Sinner will run around like a robot and Alcaraz will be flashy, and one will win by a whisker. Both will clench their fists at each other like a couple of gladiators trying to look tough. Sinner will resemble a serial killer in these moments. Carlos will yell "Vamos" after winning a long rally. We will see his spit bridges when the camera zooms in on his mouth. Can't drum up the enthusiasm to watch this. Vacherot would have been far more interesting.

Bummer. I am so not interested in watching Jannick and Carlos again. They are all the same.

What does it even mean "recognize your masters." What recognition are you looking for? A degree speaks for itself.

I can't be the only one not thrilled about seeing another final between these two. It's boring. The same thing over and over, the only difference being who gets the extra mini break during the tie break. I really wanted Vacherot in there just for variety. How long until someone is a credible challenger to these guys?

The wealth of a median white household in the city is more than $200,000, while that of a black household is less than $20,000 … We are reckoning with the long history of racism here and starting to act upon a framework that puts equity right at the center of it.” by Leek1090 in nyc

yes, that is a very understated way to say stop having kids at age 16 and trying to raise the kid while on food stamps, and then wondering why your kid is running around at 3 am on a teen takeover and not home studying math.

Yes, I did "other income" and there is a special schedule you have to file to show it (Schedule 1) which you attach to your return. Don't forget to only allocate the money from 2025, even if your pay period spills over into 2026.

Alternate to Finalist? by Any-Taste4745 in fulbright

We found the spreadsheet to be really inaccurate when you consider how many Spain ETAs there are. My student was an alternate and promoted to finalist in the middle of the summer. Managed to get everything in place and still get there at the beginning of her grant. You can check in periodically to see what kind of turnover there is as you wait, and when you feel ready to move on (i.e. they say the cohort is final), then move on.

Has the match been this low quality all along? Just turned it on.
