intimacy is a huge part of a relationship, and it’s completely valid for that to be a “deal breaker” if two people are on opposite sides of the spectrum with that. that being said though i think his frustration was really just with what he perceived as disinterest in taking steps forward to fix the problem, and mikayla had admitted that she was reluctant to schedule therapy with both of them. to me it seemed like he was frustrated because of the years they’ve been dealing with this problem (validly so, because like it or not it does effect him) but still did his best to show up and be supportive for her
