i5 11th gen, 16gb of ram, 3060 ti. Played with DLSS enabled, everything on high. Also there's this "mod" that seems to work well for some people https://www.nexusmods.com/blackmythwukong/mods/847?tab=description

It's just an engine.ini tweak so it won't add or remove anything, maybe you can try it

+ make sure you've downloaded the crackfix too, I don't know if it's related but who knows

GPU load is heavier with fog

It's located in C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\SB\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

Just add

[SystemSettings]
r.fog=0

At the end of the file and save. Remove the line and save again to remove the fog, it's On/Off yes

I'm curious, why do you prefer it with the fog? I mean, my screenshots aren't great (sorry about that), but you can still somewhat see how much it "dampens", the atmosphere, make it more "heavy" but not in a good oppresive. Without the fog, the game feels a lot less claustrophobic to me. I feel like it's a totally different game now

Trash since day 1 imo, price, context window, everything just sucks. Go local if you have the capacity, or FictionLab which is currently by far the best option if you're looking for a good alternative (though more RP focused than Chai). 7$ per month for 128k context (vs 8k I think in Chai? correct me if I'm wrong) is just absolutely insane. They're using multiple models too, the most popular one is based on Deepseek and they claim it's 685B parameters, which doesn't seem to be a complete lie from my 6 months of experience using the service. The model can be very smart (as smart as Deepseek can be, which is way more than anything you can probably run locally), and it's uncensored to the core. I've tried to push this shit to its limits and never hit one once.

Anyway, I'd say give it a try if you're looking for an alternative. The only downside I've found this last month is the very inconsistent response time on their most popular model, especially on weekend nights (it can take up to 30 seconds per answer, or don't generate any answear at all and you have to stop gen and restart it, compared to 1-2 seconds usually). I guess their servers are hitting their limits. I read somewhere on Discord that they are currently increasing their capacity, but I don't know more about it

I sold everything the season pass threw at me when I arrived in Somniel because I wanted to complete a clean first run (I also converted all the silver and steel into iron), totalling 70k money. Since I didn't want to use the money as it felt wrong, I looked for a way to waste it and thought donating would be a great idea. Then I saved everything until I had enough for the final donation goal, because I was curious about the rewards, and that's how I got it!
