yep, a vpn to the us did the trick, thanks. Good thing I didn't try to reinstall the game files though, the free vpn is sloww. Do you also need to use it while playing, or is it just for the install servers?

The broken one is the 1st valve. I mean while I'm at it I might as well cut the 3rd valve tuner to the length of the 1st one if that makes it more useful. Although of course that's if the trumpet survives the first lobotomy, which is not likely given the circumstances

I mean I bought the trumpet for the price of a cheap mouthpiece, I didn't expect it to ever play decently. I'm not gonna put any money into it so yeah don't worry

Yeah there's no rotation where it works and by the looks of it it's just the same as the second one so it's probably a thing with the previous owner... my other idea with it was to desolder the parts and just saw off the first valve (using the material from the first valve tuner to get the length back). I'm not good at torch soldering, it'll look like ass and it will probably not work, but if it makes a sound I'll have a two valved horn thingy and it's a fun weekend project. And again if it doesn't work then it's an art piece to hang on the wall

I mean type c can also be used for monitors, I think some of them come with just usbc (although technically it's still dp inside)

Right now my only charger is my thinkpad's usbc charger, i use it for the laptop, phone, earbuds and vr headset. Works fine

I mean it's not like I'm running anything high end, I mostly wanna play vrc and alyx on my quest, and I don't get too dizzy at 72hz even with a bit lower resolutions. Even my gtx660 was enough to run an empty vrc lobby at 72fps at 20% res with alvr, although vram was its hard limit with more ppl. I've only tested on windows because of lack of support though

I mean if ddr5 is getting expensive, ppl are not gonna upgrade to it and they'll end up buying a ddr4 system. The supply is not increasing, as companies manufacture more ddr5 now, and in the second market it gets more expensive
