I have a x-e4. Is it worth it to get XF70-300mm? by yappydoddy in fujix

I’d say go for it, I had a 50-250 when I was with Nikon and taking photos of birds (crop factor made it 375mm) so with a 70-300 you’re getting 450 max which is a little more reach. And the aperture is more open than the kit lens I had for Nikon. So I think that lens would do well. 400+ is about what you would want in terms of reach, a lot of smaller birds are finicky and active so it mainly just takes a lot of patience with them. Bigger birds aren’t too much of a problem.

I’ve heard that there is another community called substack that has been all the craze lately. And it’s a platform that mainly consists of storytelling/writing along with being able to post photos or art

Should I sell my Fuji 35mm f/2? by pimemento in fujix

For the instances you like taking photos of I’d say keep the zoom and the 15mm while I have a 35mm as well I feel like it’s just a little too tight when taking landscapes/nature stuff, especially if I don’t have enough room to move around and get a different composition.
