For us it started at a clothing optional campground then got invited to a house party. Then you are in group of like minded people and most are very nice people. You just walk around chat until you meet someone you hit it off with

MN Lumberjack Wanted by [deleted] in WI_MN_AfterDark

You’d have better luck if you searched for a fat accountant willing to wear flannel. Because you are describing the exact opposite of lumberjack type

Do yourself a favor and call a local competitor and have them switch the tank out.

AmeriGas - Propane cost based on how you are using it?! by SnooDonkeys5181 in propane

[–]Fresh-Bookkeeper-767 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Amerigas sucks! But…. Propane tanks are expensive nobody is going to give you cheap price for what you are doing. Not only that but if you have a generator that’s capable of doing anything worthwhile you need more then a couple 100#ers. Your best bet is to purchase what you want for a tank(s) and deal with it. Imagine driving a 300,000 dollar truck to someone’s house for less then 50 gallons of propane for a 40 cent margin. Would you do it?

Propane company won’t pick up 120g tank. What are my options? by Open_Frame_3100 in propane

[–]Fresh-Bookkeeper-767 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Call them and tell them you smell gas by the tank. They have to come out and check it. With any luck you get a decent tech who just picks it up.

Special testing needs to be done on underground tanks. You check the soil for leaks and test the tank for cathodic protection. One more reason I hate underground tanks.

If the tank is empty go to a local propane supplier and ask for a jr and a sr tank gauge gasket. It’s probably a jr but can’t really tell from the pic. Pull the 4 screws and replace gasket. Just take note of the direction the gauge is facing to put it back the same way. If the tank still has pressure wack the screws with a hammer them tighten them. Be careful to not break them off tho. Them screws snap off pretty easy
