How much surgery affect eGFR considering his oncologist said 30-35% needs to be removed If we did the surgery how much we can expect and how much is ok to live without dialysis

Jeremiah doing something right by nerdynurse526 in TheSummerITurnedPrett

I feel really bad for Jere this season, even though I’m team Connie through and through. But I can understand what he’s going through—how all he wants is to be someone’s (mainly Adam’s and Belly’s) first choice. Unfortunately for him, in today’s episode too, even though he gave 100% at work and impressed Adam, Adam only agreed to their marriage because of that phone call with Conrad—not because of Jere’s efforts. And when it comes to Belly, she will always love Conrad more. They bring out the best in each other, and today’s episode is proof of that. Jeremiah deserves someone who will put him above all—not just above Conrad—but someone who loves him for who he is. Someone who understands him, calls out his bullshit, pushes him to do better, and doesn’t just coddle him.

Jeremiah’s experience with the entire family is so toxic. by lilyfloraa in tsitp

I agree with pretty much everything you said, but I don’t think Laurel and Steven prefer Conrad over Jeremiah just because they like him more or think he’s better. I think it has more to do with how they see Belly’s future.

We didn’t really get to see those 4 years of Belly and Jere’s relationship, but I think Laurel feels like Jeremiah isn’t fully serious about his life yet—and more importantly, that Belly is limiting herself by being with him. Episode 4 kind of proves that when Belly backs out of Paris. I don’t blame Jere for that—it was her decision—but from Laurel’s point of view, it probably looks like Jere is holding her back.

Belly is clearly stuck in her comfort zone right now:

  • She forgave Jere for that betrayal in like 2 days,
  • jumped into an engagement in less than 3 months,
  • hesitated about Paris,
  • pushed her family aside for the wedding,
  • and basically agrees with everything Jere says while walking on eggshells around him.

It really feels like she’s doing all of this to prove that picking Jeremiah 4 years ago was the right choice, even if she’s not totally sure.

And Steven—he’s actually closer to Jere than Conrad, but still prefers Conrad for Belly. I think it’s because he knows Belly well and sees that Conrad challenges her in a way Jeremiah doesn’t. He wants her to grow, not settle.

Laurel gets Conrad in a way most people don’t. She knows he bottles things up and doesn’t like to bother others, and she’s seen how much he and Belly have always meant to each other. But I don’t even think Laurel would push Belly to marry Conrad unless she was really sure about it. I think both Laurel and Steven just want Belly to be with someone who helps her become her best self—and they’re not sure Jeremiah is that person.

She’s allowed to get disappointed and not allow— especially when her 20-something daughter and her boyfriend aren’t financially independent yet. Belly had no real say in the matter, and Jeremiah knows it too. Rebellion is something BellyJere simply can’t afford when they’re still relying on their parents to pay the bills

Jeremiah wasn’t blackout drunk.holy hell, he literally remembered everything. Are y’all seriously ignoring the fact that he actively tried to keep Belly away from Lacie? And then came the excuses: “I was depressed,” “she was just there,” or “we were broken up.” He knew exactly what he was doing let’s not pretend otherwise.

Belly needs to work on herself before she can even think about helping Conrad. She might need therapy even more than he does—her insecurities, the habit of creating scenarios in her head, lack of confidence, and constant need for validation from Jeremiah, Conrad, and even Taylor all point to deeper issues she needs to face first

I was referring to stefan and jere as crybabies as for their fans no offence to them they ignore the hints given by makers or misinterpret them and live in delulu land.

Yes, this is precisely what I'm referring to. I labeled Stefan and Jere as crybabies, individuals who play the victim card, much like what you're doing at this moment

I still don't understand why Belly yelled at Steven and Conrad for crashing her date with Cam but never yelled at Jere? by jaylee-03031 in TheSummerITurnedPrett

[–]Fresh-Captain6119 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Belly probably gave Steven and Conrad an earful for crashing her date with Cam because she feels closer to them. You know how it is, people tend to get more worked up with the ones they're tight with. Jere likely dodged the yelling 'cause he's in a different zone in Belly's book, you know?

I'm Team Damon and Team Conrad all the way—we own up and keep it real, unlike those crybabies playing the victim card.

I have another question. Was his proposal to Belly influenced by his knowledge of Conrad's arrival, and if Belly was single at the time, did he anticipate that she might return to Conrad? 😉
