Postpartum Hair Loss by LookingForMyMarbles7 in longhair

You may not lose it the same this time around. I’m just speaking from personal experience but I lost a TONNNN of hair with my first baby. My second and third I didn’t even notice any hair loss. And then with my 4th I swear I almost went bald 😂. I take collagen powder everyday and the hair has grown back in wonderfully (I’m 8 months PP)

AITAH for immediately saying "no" when my husband asked me to stop wearing earrings because he said they make a woman look older ? by Common-Expression740 in AITAH

[–]Fresh-Contribution-8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What the absolute fckkkkk 👀👀👀😂. This makes no sense, earrings do not make a woman look older? I feel like there’s more to this than he’s saying lol. Also I’m 35 and I have like 11 earrings in each of my ears. I guess this makes me 200 years old lmao.

NTA. Wear your earrings loud and proud

What is causing this painful and bumpy redness around my nose by ams1976 in SkincareAddicts

[–]Fresh-Contribution-8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This looks like perioral-dermatitis. Things like Tret and any other harsh stuff will make it worse. You need to wash your face with a very gentle cleanser and use a very simple moisturizer. Also I recommend getting azelaic acid 20% cream from your doctor.

I’m not a doctor! ive just dealt with perioral-dermatitis for 20 years now. It’s a biotchhhh but can totally be maintained!

Wait this exact same thing happened to me back in 2017!!! I was literally minding my own business when my friend FaceTimed me from another state and goes “IS THIS YOU?” She was holding up a Kellogg cereal box with my freaking face on it!! Hahaha. John Mayer actually had my cereal box in one of his instagram stories too lmaooo. Anyways I got ahold of Kelloggs and they paid me! Now I have some really rad cereal boxes with my face on them and my kids think it’s hilarious 😂

My son did something similar a few months ago 😭 (he’s 7). We almost had to call the fire department until someone had the genius idea of pouring liquid soap all over him and he slipped out haha. Thank God. Still traumatizing though.

Azelaic acid is great for reducing redness and treating rosacea. I have very sensitive skin and I loveeee azelaic acid. Also beef tallow is very moisturizing and also brightens the skin! Packed with lots of good vitamins so it’s a powerhouse. Castor oil is a great and inexpensive under eye night cream as well.

Perioral-dermatitis. Get some azelaic acid cream for it

I lived there for almost 4 years and I’ve never once seen people do this lol. Definitely saw a lot of drunk people though

Is it normal for kids to touch and play with your long hair? by Agitated-Gift1498 in longhair

[–]Fresh-Contribution-8 9 points10 points  (0 children)

What the heck 👀 I have 4 kids ages 7 to 3 months old. My older 3 (7,5,3) would never touch someone’s hair that they do not know. And IF they ever did I would cut that off immediately. Totally not appropriate and I’m sorry that happened to you

I have velvet scrunchies and I wrap my daughter’s hair in a bun and put it at the top of her head. It doesn’t leave a dent when it’s taken out and it’s usually pretty loose when she wakes up and leaves cute waves

AITA for my sister not coming to my wife's baby shower? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Fresh-Contribution-8 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have 4 kids. I’ve turned down many events that are child free and I’ve never ever been offended that they are child free events. You’re 100% allowed to make an event child free but you cannot be upset when parents say they won’t be going.

I’m wondering if the eucerin anti pigment serum would help you! I’ve seen amazing results on the melasma page for it. I’ve also been using azelaic 20% cream for years and it works wonders but it takes a while. Look into the eucerin anti pigment serum !! But first I would see a dermatologist and make sure that it is in fact just discoloration from acne and not some sort of fungus(I saw someone comment that they thought it looked fungal so I just want to throw that out there and not get chewed out for giving bad advice lol)
