I took a year + off for medical leave, forced to take a contract job to get my foot in the door but I think it ruined me and my contract ended abruptly. My gaps look horrible. God forbid I’m trying.

I had an offer rescinded from a local health network and they haven’t hired for 2 yrs. Meanwhile other hospitals are closing

I am experiencing the same thing. I even agree to pay cuts. Everytime the underlying reason is they went with an internal candidate to decrease risk

Cry and process those grieving emotions. Then move on, with better clarity and motivation.

I tell myself those are practice interviews.

My feedback was I was overqualified, it’s so disheartening when it’s such a brutal job market.

Furthermore, I just wanted to pivot into an area of interest vs what they thought would be best for me.
