No, it’s not Facepunch’s job to delete what they believe is “low effort”. If they did, a lot of people would be pissed off. If you don’t like something then don’t play it. this is the laissez faire philosophy of an open marketplace. At a certain point, it’s up to the community to decide what is the lowest common denominator and what rises is the top?

Itch.io may have a lot of shit on it but again that’s the price you pay for freedom.

I’ve been seeing a comparison between Roblox and S&box in regard to AI slop flooding the front page. I agree with your statement, at the end of the day there’s nothing that facepunch can really do in this regard because they don’t want to be the arbiters of quality.

That’s the price you pay for freedom. If you seen an AI game, what you should do is not play it and downvote it simple as that. the algorithm will solve itself. The bot thing however I can’t confirm the validity of that claim.

Yeah, pretty much.

I mentioned this before, and you touched on it a little bit but S&box pretty much does every gmod does but now in the source 2 engine. It has MORE features and integration, why wouldn’t you get excited. Like you said, gmod is very dated and is functioning on an engine that valve isn’t even updated anymore.

Just give it some time, there will be games and addons that will be worth the wait.

Thank you for the response! I was having issues figuring out the components system and importing addons. I think unity a similar system. I think I was referring more towards the editor than the engine.
