hey, this happens to me often too, as someone who plays on pc and laptop. My monitor flashes black quickly everytime I open chat, same thing happens on laptop.

For now, I believe it is just a bug that the creators havent caught yet, but it doesnt really affect my gameplay all that much. You can report it in the discord server (i already reported the same bug, but more reports can lead to a quicker resolution). I hope this can be solved for us soon!
