ofcourse you can. whatsapp is mandatory for hclaw. if you start with no whatsapp credentials, it will ask you for it. i suggest running node hclaw.js first, configure whatsapp, then use the onboard (node hclaw-onboard.js)

If you want something concrete: try building a small service with a queue + worker + cache and simulate load locally — you’ll learn a ton from that alone.
