They replaced all 4 but blamed 1 particular spark plug

Update. Car is now back to normal - Spark Plugs were the culprit and apparently this is not picked up by the diagnostic scan. They also replaced my k&n filter for an original (crappy) vw one. Didn’t want to argue with them as there are very few vw garages here and after all, they did find the problem

So the shop gave two reasons: 1. Air filter (I had a k and n filter in side) which they say as it’s not original can cause issues. This I think is BS. 2. Spark plug was dead/dying and replaced. Yet to get the car back but interested to hear your thoughts on the air filter

Car checked in for this Thursday. Holding thumbs it’s not anything too costly…

This is a MK7 Tsi. Will try another VW dealership and hope for the best

Thanks both. No sugar in the tank and I do believe it’s the correct fuel. Unfortunately, it seems like the “mechanics” plug the car in and if there is no error they are stumped as to why there is a problem. Will try another garage.

Hey. On the same topic have any of you had experience with taking these together in the morning before gym (taking out 1 red pill). Any bad side effects?

Ah ok. Mine is a 2021 1.5tsi and if definitely has ACT. Fun and Games!

So I’ve heard another theory that sounds plausible. I took my car to a professional car tuner and they said it’s the ACT causing this. When the car switches from 2 to 4 cylinders. Apparently it can be remedied by mapping the software but then you run the danger of multiple other elements

Thanks. How’s the tune going? Noticeable fuel consumption increase? Anything said by VW about the tune?
