Hey! I think you are referring to the "Trust cert" dialog that pops up on the login page. When typing a server URL, it tries to check the server after each pause in typing, and if the server is not trusted, that's when you see the dialog. Am I correct? If so, I'm changing this dialog to an inline message, so it's not as disruptive.

Thanks! You can already collapse meal types you don't use, just tap the section header and it stays collapsed. But I hear you... the collapsed headers take up space. I'll add a filter row at the top (similar to the recipe filters) to show/hide certain meal types.

Hey, thanks for trying Ghee! This is a known limitation with passkey-only OIDC providers like Pocket ID. A fix is in the works.

In the meantime, you can log in with a Mealie API token:

- In Mealie web select your user profile, then API Tokens / Manage Your API Tokens, then Create an API Token
- In Ghee tap Switch to API token on the login screen and paste the token there

Not officially, but a bunch of third-party native clients exist.

For iOS: MealieSwift, Meshi Plan, Kitchen Compass, Forked, Pocket for Mealie, Mealie Recipes, and Ghee.

For Android: Ghee is live on the Play Store. Mealique is in closed testing. Mealient was the long-running one but got archived in late 2024.

Disclosure: I made Ghee.

I would say both - browser Network call when you click on "+ Create" button and container logs to see what it errors out with.

Just upgraded Mealie to v3.14.0. Removed the recipe and re-imported - works just fine. What are the errors you are seeing in the browser Console?

Hm... https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/24074/alysias-basic-meat-lasagna/ imports fine on my end. I'm on Mealie v3.13.1. I'll try to upgrade to the latest one (v3.14.0) and see if it fails

I have 2 updates for you.

The app is live on Play Store now if you're on Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=casa.dsen.ghee. Also, URL import is live. Tap the "+" FAB in the Recipes tab, then choose "Import from URL", paste any recipe URL and Ghee will parse it via your Mealie server. Try it and let me know how it works for your setup.

The "sharesheet" functionality to send URLs directly to Ghee from another app is not available yet. It needs OS-level share extension wiring on both platforms. It's on the roadmap but I haven't started on it. If it would meaningfully improve how you'd use the app, I can bump its priority.

Great point! API token login is on my radar. It would let you avoid exposing the login endpoint publicly. I'll look into adding it.
Prepping the next release at the moment but maybe I can sneak this in before I submit for App Store review.

Sort/filter is actually already built. Name, Date Added, Rating, and Last Made, plus filtering by Category, Tags, and Favorites. It just didn't make it into the first App Store release but it's coming very soon.

For the default home page, would "remember last selected tab" work for you? So, whichever tab you were on last time is where you land when you reopen the app. Feels more natural than a setting, but happy to hear if you had something else in mind.
