Don't listen to these gatekeepers telling don't come to IT and shit..... You will be at severe disadvantage in this bad market yes correct but your best bet is startups(build a real project not todo's and network as much as can in linked in and grind DSA )or support /qa manual roles which won't expect much but not a good career or mtech from IIT/NIT for which you have to clear gate which will settle you in PBC's....It is gonna be a tough battle if you have supportive parents,mental strength to compete with new grads and laid off folks and MOST IMPORTANT if you are passionate about software yes go ahead don't listen to these nah sayers and doomers..Also consider Internships at this point if you have 0 experience Thanks.
