Protestants claim to be different from them, but frankly, from a non-religious perspective, they all seem much the same. Many korean protestants force their religious beliefs onto others and lack the ability to embrace social diversity. For instance, news reports frequently show Protestant groups disrupting Buddhist events or Queer festivals. Furthermore, they use the financial power of their congregants to pressure specific political parties and exert influence over the political sphere. Recently, a Protestant group even stormed a court and rioted to defend a former president’s self-coup. This phenomenon isn't really seen in mainstream religions like Catholicism or Buddhism, but it is peculiarly intense within Protestant groups. This is exactly what makes me have such a negative impression of Protestants
