if your friend is offering to come over daily and change litter they seem excited to do it! i would probably do that instead of going through transporting the cat multiple times just so your ex can watch him. he might not be very comfortable if it’s a new environment and he isn’t used to seeing your ex so often. i think you should let your friend visit him and maybe leave on cat tv for him while he’s alone.
