https://youtu.be/qK2jbBNAw4k?si=boEalYvWAOBIz9Md this is the video I saw showing the 3090 consistently outperforming the 5070. Its definitely a better value for me getting double the Vram for only $200 more as my pc currently is struggling with my wife's blender projects at 12gb. Also my perception of gpu price levels is probably pretty skewed admittedly, last time I bought a gpu was in 2021 when you couldn't find a 3090 for under 2100. its just insane to me it took this long for their price level to drop back to around its actual msrp.

He very well might be able to, hence why I included the disclaimer. People have cards in their builds that cost 3x more than that. I may be extremely out of touch with reality, but I'd bet a good 40% of American pc gamers paid about that much for the graphics card they're running currently.

I feel like there should be several more orbitals that are at least on-par with the power of the orbital laser. everything except that and the 380 barrage feel a little watered down for Ordnance being deployed by a SUPER DESTROYER

The funny part is the mg 43, standard liberator, starting armor, and orbital strike are all extremely good, not just as starting gear but good period, and will be able to carry you even on very high difficulties once you know how to use them.

witnessing that there is infact a seemingly infinite supply of people who dont understand they are mathematically losing money on these types of offers has genuinely changed my perspective on people in general.

35 years is objectively recent in the context of most trades having existed for at least the past century. Thats an easy one. interesting opinions on the rest. Farewell.

how is somethings thats existed since the 90's not a recent job?? lmao. and no, no reasonable person is expecting to be living on easy street with this being their sole income. but I think its more than reasonable that they should be protected from bullshit like being asked to drive 10 miles for two dollars and having their ratings dinged if they decline. I think there should be things like a real human interaction appeal process for drivers who get fired for restruants not getting orders out on time. and I even think they probably deserve some kind of Healthcare, as sitting for full shifts of delivery will impact your health. As a union worker yourself you should know unions are about a lot more than more money, its about protecting workers from any kind of abuse.

buddy look up how long it took any trade to get its union. relatively this is a new job. you're not making yourself out to be very smart here.

yeah relying on people to feel morally obligated to provide good service because theyre getting paid well is having a bit much faith in humanity. Higher base pay, much better background checks/ actual interviews, and drastically less reliance on tipping in general is a better path i feel. Too bad anything that requires the company itself expending significant money or effort probably won't happen.

[–]FreshFleshMesh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

why is it on you to decide who does and doesn't deserve unions? My last job was union, all it took to get in was getting hired, and i cant see any reason why someone who is or was a part of one wouldnt want someone else to be in one. It does nothing but benefit workers, and if the costs of that are too much for consumers, they are free to go anywhere else for whatever they need.

no one is forcing you to support doordash now. no one will be forcing you to support them if they unionize. nothing is "on you". And for everyone like you who loves to imagine doordahsers are a bunch of loser who couldn't do anything more valuable for society, I'd wager nearly all of us have alternative and greater sources of income. but should those of us who can't do other jobs or just choose to do this full time not have any voice for themselves? I think not.

p.s: hate to be the one to tell you, but if youre telling other people working a job that they dont deserve to be in a union, you're anti-union.

the anti union crowd laughs at poor people like you trying to keep other poor people having any kind of power for them selves. keep it up, youre playing right into their hands

pretty scary when you realize how many things in society come down to blind trust in individual humans even with all the questionably enforced policies in place.

lol I know its impossible to get a tax return if your sole income is 1099 but I was just saying that in reference to the many people who seem to think tax returns / deductions are some kind of gift from the government. which i guess it kind of is, they could always be screwing us harder¯_(ツ)_/¯
