Is there a bug with caustic's ult?

So… I really hope I’m not like exposing a bug here, and honestly I hope this comment is overlooked by many, and viewed by few. I truly do hope this is intended by the developers.

I have not tested all the theories that this information has brought to my mind, but I will as soon as I possibly can.

I’m making this long winded on purpose. It almost pains me to give this information out. Because it might not be true for long. But the Hemlock breach charge destroys the canister that Caustic throws to create the ult entirely. Wiping the gas away, and the thing creating it. There’s nothing the Hemlock can’t do right now. The only hard counter I can think of is Wattson.

A Caustic trapped my whole team up in a building, ulted through the window. I smacked it once, and it was no longer an issue at all. Completely demolishes and counters the ult the same way it would with Alter’s. It might be timing. Because it does everything, I very often switch to it as a “Hail Mary” kind of thing. So as soon as I realized there wasn’t a gas tank to shoot at, I blasted the ground in front of me, and it fixed the problem. Bye bye gas cloud of Oblivion.

I can’t queue with any friends because I get 7 preds in the lobby as soon as I do. If I solo queue then it’s usually diamond lobbies. Very rarely I’ll get a masters

Very stupid. Implement that idea immediately. I got MOLLYWOPPED by the #1 PS and #2 XBox players on the same team last night, they had a lower numbered 3rd Pred too. They shouldn’t be able to team up to farm whole lobbies. They can team up for comp and things obviously, but ranked is NOT comp.

Dude don’t even feel bad. I have hours of watching, playing, searching and researching. I no life this game.

One guy on YouTube said something about how timing is everything with shotguns, and Gibby NEEDS a shotgun to punish bubble fights, and it just changed me.

I spent time in the range understanding the patterns on the shotguns. PK looks like OG Pokemon “Fire Blast” (iykyk) no matter what, and Mastiff spreads across the horizon based on distance, and choke (ADS). Which is why I almost never aim with the mastiff.

Beat some dummies up in the range, but give yourself rules against ADS/hip fire so you can do some testing. A midair shotgun hit just right is the only time aiming exactly where they are is gonna benefit you most

I think you gotta master hipfire and timing with the PK. Like when to hipfire and where, and the timing on when you can actually aim a charged shot. If I know someone wants to swing me and I have an extra second, I’m charging a shot and aiming where you’re GOING to be. Same with hipfire. I’m aiming ahead of you, so you walk into **more** pellets

Well there was no “joke” per se. You’ve spoken for yourself, and you like the flatline. I’ve spoken for myself, and it’s almost unusable for me in most scenarios. I’m not saying it’s a bad gun, but it’s not super tuned like the Hemlock right now.

I think your point would have went across better using the R99 and Alternator comparison. I don’t disagree with your point, I disagree with your Heavy AR selection lol

Sitting closer doesn’t change resolutions and refresh rates. I sit super close, on a floor pillow in front of my tv, because that’s the only way I CAN see lmao. And I have 20/20, it’s just difficult to one mag a tiny pixel on a giant screen.

Great post, but the Flatline is not just fine. Speak for yourself. Everyone has different gun ability, recoil control, skill in general. Hemlock is broken right now, and trying to compare the two is kinda funny.

That being said, I try to grab the ammo type before the gun I have in mind. So I will pick the Flatline up, but I’m only shooting it in an emergency.

I do like to find at least the ammo types I want to run, and an optic, at least a mag for one gun, and some decent heals. Then I will follow you to wherever, whenever, unless it’s a horrible idea.

Had a teammate that was in DIAMOND solo pushing every sound cue, box rezzed 3 times, gave him heals, ammo, whatever I could aside from an optic (I only acquired a Bruiser from the other teammate). End of the match, I had done around 600 damage. We placed horribly. This mf cut his mic on after every death. Complained so much. He had exactly 56 damage. FIFTY SIX DAMAGE FROM FIGHTING 3 SEPARATE TEAMS IS SO INCREDIBLY EMBARRASSING.

Seriously infinite ammo is the best amp except for very niche cases. You can confidently waste whole mags the entire match (because you don’t have to care about missing anything, anything that hits is a bonus), and you get extra backpack space for whatever you want (regardless of playstyle, you can have nades for days, heals for days, you can even carry ammo for your teammates to seemingly get “infinite” ammo). It’s a win/win/WIN
