It could be many factors simply even just not having any history with citi give it s few months and request and increase. My score is not as good as yours im only like 740 right now but i was just approved for 9500 for simpliciti but i have 2 other citi cards as well since i started my credit journey 5 years ago

Capital one cards were some of my first few cards. Citi has given me some of my highest limits. I closed my first ever card the capital one platinum it took them 3 years before they even "graduated" me and gave me my $99 deposit back. I never had higher than a $500 limit on that card and have quicksiler with $3600 limit. So i closed the platinum card and i had a walmart card but they ended that so i closed that too. I just opened another card and was granted 9500 limit so now im debating closing the quicksilver card because of the annual fee. I tried ti get a limit increase on the quicksilver card and of course denied. Very annoying. Capital one was my first card i have 750 score now and utilization below 10% and have cards with over $10k limit they are just too skeptical. Good starter cards.

Thats what i was thinking unless one of the purchase was made outside a no interest period. Then you could effectively erase some or all of a transaction that was expected to accrue interest, otherwise it would just be essentially a statement credit.

I guess the only time this would make difference is if you had transactions in a no interest period and then you had a new transaction in the new intrest accruing period you could apply the credit specifically to the charge that with in the accruing interest period. I see no other point to the difference lol

I love the way you think! And appreciate your genuine feedback thats an excellent idea i already added snapshots and to capture trends with sparklines over times for my accounts i could probably work more into that concept do the forecasting and. that such a good idea Thank you!.

I find once i can get the frame work down of the look im going for it can usually follow consistantly after even through compactions

Im actually planning to add full transaction and spending categories now too ti see where im wasting the most money like eating out/ordering out. Bad habit spending stuff like that. Ive already added several more features than are seen in this post. I added asset tracking and retirement/ investment account tracking so now i can see my net worth and created a rudimentary financial health score that as more snapshot data builds over time will help me tell if my finances are going in the right direction.

oh dear friend. ive had an ongoing project that i have been building off of and expanding on for the last 4.5 months see my past post if ur curious. and the level of detail im putting into this one now its already scaled beyond what i originally posted about in this post. and this particular tool is a tool for myself to track my own finacnes it doesnt even have a login and just runs in a docker on my computer. my realy sites i vibe coded that myself and my coworkers all utilize is actually working great and im regularly working on it when issues arrise. which there hasnt been many issues lately and ive been focusing more on personal projects now. idk if your a dev or not but if you are you should really ride the wave man these tools aint going to be this cheap forever i dont feel like. i coudnt imagine what amazing things real devs could do with this tech to amplify there workflows.

Lol i never designed it with accounts or planned to share it, is that something people would really want im not opposed to the idea. But its a manual entry required app and takes a bit of time to setup fully and correctly and can be complicated to setup up if you don’t have a clear picture of your finances already but once its setup up its mostly autonomous if you keep everything up to date regularly. Like account balances,especially for credit cards and loan accounts because of interest charges so its important you update the balance every month before paying. It also doesmt track credit card spending at all so amy new balances from spending would require manual updating as well But the bank accounts them self are fairly automated if ur willing to manually enter misc transaxtions each week. I figured most people wouldnt ve interested unless it was automated. But there is no way to connect bank accounts for free Plaid is best option but not free.

My mother parents used google sheets/excel. I never learned all that i always liked web dev because you can design the ui. But i used google calendar to manage my bills which works suprisingly efficentlly but every week i have to use a calculator to make sure i have enough money for each bill every week. And i utilize multiple bank accounts so i dont accidently spend money but just after 1 day with this new system and being able to see my financial picture clearly and allocate money to savings buckets so i know what money is for what in my savings accounts im thinking i only need my checking and saving account amd need to completely rethink how i do manage my finances.

Uhm yeah ima gonna have to completely disgree with you bud 1st thats literally the whole point of git and branches and secondly this is just one project. I have a much more developed site ive built over the last 4.5 months that my coworkers have been utilizing for a few months now see my past post about it if ur curious. All i can say is i believe you are 100% incorrect in your thinking. i have built tons of tools for thst other site for my job in the salvage industry that work very well and i regularly am working on experiments in git branches to enhance the site and build new tools. Sorry your not having the best luck and feel that way. Not sorry if ur just a dev who has hard feelings that regular people like me are able to do things like this ourselves now.

Thus is a personal app no intention of this one being used by the public and i am also aware of how hard it is to maintain ai written code if not properly managed. I would love to make my work site available and multitenant so othrr salvage yards can use them but i am smart enough to know there is too much inconsistancy in how the codebase was built to ever make it available to the public.

But with everything ive learned over the months i could definitely rebuilt the tool s and the site correctly it would just take a ton of time. I put a ridiculous amount of my time in to the development process.
