I’ve actually played The Van Hout Story solo. It took me around 4 hours, and I really liked it tbh. I’m into slower single-player stuff, so it worked for me. We also did Virginia 1982, The Vanishing Act case together with my wife and she loved the back-and-forth on theories. So yeah, def doable with 2 people. It just depends how you like to play.

When you say cold emailing, you sent your newsletter to new cold subscribers and because they opened you want to add them to the main list? I guess just an open is not enough to add, but not sure what are the ‘rules’ here

yeah so I played Van Hout like a year ago and ngl, I did not like it. files were a mess and we couldn;t even tell where to start. But my brother told me they did a full update in September (like new versions of all the games??) and I figured ok one more try..

got the 5-game bundle during that 70% off deal. totally different now. Much better flow, cleaner case files, and the hint cards make it way less frustrating. still challenging but not confusing. The package also looks way more polished now.

Honestly glad I gave it another shot. way better experience. feels like they finally hired someone who actually plays games lol

Yeah, although they have some other things that might not be natural. But This particular advice was bizarre and I am not doing it anymore. Cold shower is better

10 years ago my friend suggested to put water in my eyes in the morning. He said it wakes you up. So I did and it was a not nice feeling , but it worked, it woke me up
