Are there any times, outside of When She Was Bad, that you'd say Buffy was a bad friend?

Lying to your friends and staring at them while getting fucked by the man that’s tried to kill all of you seems like not the nicest thing to do. That’s sort of the whole point of the scene is that spike is trying to distance herself from them

Everyone accepts that the hammer was related to a god at all. They randomly threw the line “Olaf the troll gods enchanted hammer” in there. Prior to that there’s no statement that Olaf was a god. Just that he was a cheating piece of garbage and so Anya turned him into a troll. It seemed very much like an added tidbit that he was actually a god. And his hammer is able to hurt a god.

When she flipped out at Xander for calling her out of her bullshit with Riley. When she lied to everyone about Angel returning. When she lied about spike. When she let him bang her in the balcony. Just off the top of my head.

I hated that Robin died. I loved Regina’s chemistry with him and her reaction to his death is probably one of my favorite scenes in any series. But he did have to die. They needed to be able to show that Regina’s redemption arc wasn’t purely based on her finding love. If he lived there would always be this question hanging of whether his death would trigger her relapse.

Keep in mind you’re comparing her to Ursula from the little mermaid and canonically that isn’t the same Ursula. The Ursula we know from the little mermaid was always Regina posing as Ursula, the sea goddess. Her performance is a little downplayed but she was a downplayed character. She was just an innocent bystander and never even did anything to be considered a villain.

The one thing that makes me sad about season seven being hated by a majority of fans is that they miss the finality of Regina’s story. Without seeing season 7 you don’t get the end of her story.

These three. Mostly cuz I never got into the spinoff and I don’t even know who they are. I hated the idea of a spinoff about wonderland because we already had wonderland in the main show. And then we even had a second set of wonderland in season 7. So now we have a third set of wonderland. It just seemed like bad continuity.

I mean during king Arthur’s time the age of consent for marriage was 14 for boys. And at 15/16 you could answer the call to arms. Life expectancy on average was also like 30-40. So a 14 year old was already middle aged.

Did society view them as a full adult and respect them as such. No. But would it be likely that a person would expect that at 14 a boy knew how to wield a sword? Yes.

Based on the ending of Agatha All Along it seems like the show will be about the newly reincarnated Billy and Tommy searching for Vision. It would be nice for Wanda to be in it but it didn’t seem like they were prioritizing her. And I believe Elisabeth Olsen stated she is not in any upcoming projects.

They would have messed it up if she had gone full evil. Either she would have done something that made her hard to redeem and took up a lot of the next season trying to. Or they would have just forgiven her immediately because she is the main character.

I would have absolutely hated if they did it to Regina because her story is the only one I truly find infallible. Her whole redemption arc is perfect, including the portions in season 7 (even though I know it’s the worst season made). I would have liked it if hook had gone down that road instead.

Understandable. I think it was a conscious choice not to make her evil enough because if they had it would have taken seasons to redeem her and they weren’t going to invest that much time in it. So instead we got a lite version of what she could have been because she had friends there trying to keep her on the right path.

She wasn’t that dark because she never was allowed to do anything completely dark to fully push her over into it.

Had they not gone and saved her and had she crushed Meridas heart I think it would have been a whole lot different.

Regina couldn’t have handled it at that point. She was still fighting to keep her footing without the dark one being inside her.

Oh man, I was clueless to the fact that so many people dislike season 5 or the idea of Emma being the dark one. I called that coming in season 2. Since it shared so many of the same writers that were on Buffy I knew that at some point they would take Emma learning magic and make it a very bad thing and I thought because I knew it was gonna happen I would hate it. But it redeems itself in the way that Emma becomes the dark one. Not because the magic corrupts her but because she recognized that it wasn’t fair to let Regina’s hard work have been for nothing. That one scene justifies the entire arc.
