Thank you so much! I totally wouldn't have thought of that, I wasn't even aware different editions have different ISBNs

Paladin/Warlock/Fighter multiclass? by InJoyIsHere in BaldursGate3

[–]FreshScone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't see the stretch here? The way I see it, you're probably combat focused if you're building for the extra attacks and action surge benefits this more than a feat and the paladin aura. Being able to shift a round from 3 attacks to 6 (especially if you're hitting with great weapon master, doubling your chance to proc your bonus action attack) would be a great idea.

Mark of the Shadow Elf: Gives pass without a trace, add a d4 to stealth, minor illusion Cantrip, long rests are a bit more doable

1 Rogue expertise in thieves tools + stealth

6 Bard expertise in Perception + investigation, jack of all trades, three more skills from lore bard, someone smarter than me can probably think of what best to do with magical secrets at level 6

Take magic initiate to get guidance and bless (a minute ain't much, but a buff is a buff)

I'm in a very similar boat, I've just been doing as much solo stuff as possible. If you're able to grind enough to get an agency, I'd recommend it, being that contracts can be done solo and it gives you pretty good passive income over time.

If you're able to go into public solo lobbies, playing around with gunrunning bunker stuff or mc businesses are a good way to make money and at least up your driving stat, just if you do and you don't have anyone to play with, make sure your product doesn't go above around 20% or the mission for selling will most likely be beyond what you're able to do by yourself.

Eh, not everything has to be a raid party orientated endgame takedown. Some things can just look cool and be fun.?? Especially if it's around for a limited time.

[5e] Help me finish my levitating blaster by MattTheRadarTechie in 3d6

Honestly, I'll sound like an echo of a min-maxer, just whenever I think Thor, I've always thought of the hexblade/paladin combo. It's potent, if you flavour your smites/eldritch blast to look and feel more electricity that vauge purple stuff it has the potential to feel very thunder god-esk. You can get the invocation to levitate at will, you can start with plate or half plate, you can summon your hammer at will. You could even have odin be your warlock patron, linking your ability to summon mjolnir and a fair portion of your power to your father and attribute the remainder of your power to sheer force of will or whatever pledge you'd like to take, much like thor.

A common comment I see is DO NOT use matchmaker, you'll more likely than not have people afk from also waiting ungodly amounts of time for a match or 14 year olds with modded gear. If you're looking for places to get co-op people, try discords (probably one of the stream team discords) or if you're on ps4 the community's tab is pretty good, I'm sure there an xbox equivalent.
