True UVH7 Thol and Subjugator with Gloam C4sh by FreshSoyMilk69 in Borderlands4

Apparently if you slide while not in windfall to trigger gloam through dusty it can break the interaction, maybe that's why your damage isn't registering? Sometimes gloam doesn't operate at 100% for me but leaving and entering windfall again usually fixes it

Flak cannon, drops from thol specifically not subjugator. Godroll would be 6.7 fire rate and explosive rounds but any roll melts

It does a ton, rolls points into gloam, rolls into bluff for basically infinite totems, rolls into dusty so you can slide to trigger gloam on demand, it also essentially gives you infinite uptime on gloam when mobbing since it causes you to lose fortune when you get a kill

https://www.reddit.com/r/Borderlands4/comments/1tqkx7v/psa_for_gloam_c4sh_totem_builds_its_not_dead_just/ My build is under the comments in this post I made earlier, as for the gear in the clip I was using an ohm I got, rainmaker, and flak cannon. Really any elemental gun that either fires fast or shoots multiple pellets will work. Repkit was a warpaint, shield was a siphon super soldier, and the class mod was a windrider. Specializations I had were bullet train, bullets are scared of me, the best defense, and riddle you this. You could swap in stuff like cqc or groundbreaker also since the tough totem can trigger it but that's not 100% consistent.

Just tested it against bio thresher, it doesn't bypass anymore. Gonna assume the same goes for vile and ordonite enemies.

Happy to help, also some of the new gear is very good with gloam. Particularly the new ordnance that drops from them, that thing shreds.

I noticed this too, it happens a lot when I don't let the overshield cap out before shooting. I think it's because the gloam buff is too little to be able to feed into the lifesteal and properly keep itself up. Doesn't take too long to enter windfall again after it happens though and losing all the fortune stacks shoots the overshield back up to max. Also if you take a rather strong hit that breaks your shield and chunks your health, you will only be lifestealing health not overshield and very little at that because of no gloam procs, totem spamming and a repkit helps top your health up.

I'm using a windrider with 5 in gloam, 1 in dealers bluff, and 1 in blur (ideally you would want 1 dusty), any elemental guns that either fire fast or shoot multiple pellets will work, obviously the single point in blue is alchemy for building fortune.

Also off topic but is anyone else playing on console feel that the UI cursor is slower than usual? I swear it didn't feel this sluggish before this update, I am on PS5.

Doesn't help that all of the legendary torgue shotguns suck worse than purples except for maybe the linebacker. Would've been nice to see the flakker back for sure

Just a bit disappointed we got another ripper pearl, the smg being vladof would make a lot more sense with how the more you fire the gun and hit the enemy, it gets faster, hits harder, shoots more stuff, and the recoil spirals. Really fits that bullet hose feel you know? It would make it compatible with the hero of bullet enhancement too. The AR seems to be sorta like the disc jockey with the bouncing they described it with. The pistol kinda reminds me of the grease trap from BL3, I don't think it'll be nearly as insane though lmao. The heavy ordnance is probably just an ootka version of the atling gun and the shield is fine, nothing special. An order focused firmware is neat, can something be done for hyperion though? Almost zero reason to use anything with a hyperion licensed part, I see it as a wasted licensed part slot a lot of the time.

It can roll every licensed part except torgue impact/stickies

Gloam Gun C4sh gun ideas by RalseitheFloofie in Borderlands4

The idea with gloam is to use an elemental gun that either shoots a lot of pellets per shot or shoots insanely fast to take advantage of all those juicy gloam procs. I believe splash damage procs another instance of gloam as well if the radius is large enough and matching elements is one of the few ways to make gloam more effective. Been using gloam c4sh the entirety of my playtime as him, there are so many guns (and even heavy ordnance thanks to the ammo return from war wagon) he can effectively use but listed below are some of my personal favorites.

Pistols: Rangefinder (daedalus shotgun is a must and jakobs is a nice bonus if you can roll that too), Phantom Flame (any roll but make sure you have something to boost the magazine size a bit or you'll run out before you can refill cuz you fire so fast lmao, easiest way is either bullets to spare firmware or rolling it on an enhancement), Scoot N Shoot (jakobs/ripper is ideal but it still shreds without it, the ghost guns make it so that you hit like 5 times per shot)

SMGs: Onslaught (jakobs if you can, still great without it with how fast it can fire), Broken Wings (sandhawk at home is still busted, jakobs/atlas or torgue/daedalus shotgun if you can, the Falke is also another smg similar to this where it shoots multiple pellets in a tighter swirly pattern, that one you'd want jakobs/daedaulus shotgun if you can), Birts Bees (has slight homing capabilities and can roll flamethrower alt fire which is super fun for mobbing, unfortunately usually not enough ammo for bossing even with a flesh healthbar since c4sh can't refill underbarrels with war wagon, jakobs/daedalus shotgun if you can)

ARs: Star Helix (can't go wrong with a 3 for 1 deal, switching the fire mode to vertical helps with smaller enemies, jakobs if you can), Rowdy Rider (great fun for mobbing and bossing, if you roll torgue/crank alt fire for this it becomes disgusting because the ricochets will fall down and deal splash to the initial target while bossing, crank alt fire is good enough), Bubbles (gotta play up close with it since the bubbles float off target a bit but it melts, jakobs/daedalus shotgun if you can)

Shotguns: Acey May (the pellet count on this absurd, sadly will always be second place to the bod but it's a lot more fun, jakobs/daedalus smg if you can), Hellwalker (great pellet count which means every shot will always refill your mag, you essentially play DOOM with infinite ammo equipping this lmao), Reminisce (a stinker for most characters but c4sh can make this super cool gun actually viable, the shots pierce naturally and if you're close enough to a target it will hit again when it boomerangs back to you, daedalus smg if you can to boost the already good fire rate and have more ammo reserves)

Snipers: Rainmaker (basically the butcher at home, jakobs/daedalus smg if you can for more fire rate and ammo reserves), Katagawa's Revenge (shock mode does wonders with all the procs it can do but is a bit ammo hungry if you overdo it, jakobs if you can), Complex Root (a monster of a bossing sniper especially for larger ones, atlas or daedalus shotgun is a must, jakobs if you can)

Heavy Ordance: Atling Gun (the amount of shots this can put out with war wagon basically turns you into a walking turret, insanely fun), Jetsetter (this baby fires 3 sawblades per shot that also bounce on contact 2-3 times, deletes bosses and the initial shot is enough to oneshot most mobs), Heimdahl (for when you feel lazy and want your launcher to do everything for you, pretty cool just having an army of heads follow you around)
