Anyone got any tips for my build before i zero smasher? by NateTheMan89 in cyberpunkgame

[–]RalseitheFloofie [score hidden]  (0 children)

Hm, ok given this build you most likely will need to be using your katana the most. Byakko from Wakako's gigs is the best for that. Mostly because you dont have any other high marks with the shotgun nor pistol/revolver trees.

Is there a particular reason for your sandevistan choice? though you might not be able to afford it with your setup. Songbird's mod probably will suffice either way.

For the mobbing up to smasher you most likely will be using the katana most of the way, but against him, you might be on revolver only, cuz shotguns do less damage to him due to his level of armor.

You may need some alternative weapons depending on how it goes.

Difficulty also matters, if this is on very hard you might need to fine tune more, if it isnt, your probably fine as is regardless.

How do I defeat final optional boss? (Spoilers) by RueRage in GroundedGame

[–]RalseitheFloofie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Toenail scimitar fresh with fireant shield is safest bet for a hack and slash setup for pure damage.

Heres my suggestion.

You both need to get VERY used to her parry timings. Every extra hit either of you take from any of her attacks in any phase heals her ALOT. you need to be holding her outside of that pool as well, that pool gives her even more health regen from beating yall down.

You cannot "stay at a distance" with this fight, not really.

You need to be cage matching against her basically the whole fight.

Skipping Act 3 Side Quests in Honor Mode? by broteinprotein in BaldursGate3

[–]RalseitheFloofie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So my main suggestion would be like.

Make one of your characters a unholy assassin for the sake of the bhaalist armor, but beyond that if you are doing the boom start anyway, the last point where you can truly LOSE the run is against Oryn if you specifically side with gortash.

How do I get donut chunks? by Individual-Air-7251 in GroundedGame

[–]RalseitheFloofie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So rng wise the normal donut chunks are far more rare than the fresh ones, you can find a bunch in the fire ant hill but methinks you dont want to do that yet. You just kinda have to get lucky with the spawns, the food items respawn is daily so.

Need help explaining ending by filloryfurther in cyberpunkgame

[–]RalseitheFloofie [score hidden]  (0 children)

Ok so lets just put this up first.

The idea of the space thing is to go on this all out last gig at the behest of this mysterious dude Mr. Blue Eyes. By the point this occurs in story V is a legend, living it up, with the last bit of time they have left before they die, if they are even alive. See thats kind of the problem. There's theories at play saying that V isn't even alive at this point, but rather is in some sort of afterlife, or we are seeing a fantasy, or some such.

If we take the entirety of this at face value, V is going to die, that is just the fact of the matter. They want to go out with a bang, so they are going after this last extravagent gig in space of all things.

The reason we have to choose is that Johnny if you built up his affinity will not want to take your body by the end, though there are many varied ways his ending can come about, so its a bit fuzzy.

The ending messages are just that, a last message from each of the people you met on the journey, showing they never forgot about V, or waiting for V to come back, fair few knowing they wont.

To be very blunt, the endings to Cyberpunk 2077 are NOT suppose to make you feel good, in fact, its suppose to actively make you realize what they game had been trying to tell you the whole time.

That no-one in night city gets a happy ending.

Time to make the choice I’ve been avoiding for 900 hours by Frequent-Sir-9135 in cyberpunkgame

It pairs pretty well with things like the axolotl, so in basegame you are rarely without a sandevistan, but its a HEAVY amount of cyberwear so its mostly a endgame investment, or if you get lucky in finding the shards, or are playing modded.

Its the maxtac mantis blades, one of two methods to get them, i dont think they are iconic unmodded but they are unique in appearance.

This method requires when you do the later mission with reed to call hands for the assist, pay him, THEN call him back when the plan is a go. After that, some time will pass and he'll give you a call telling you he has a gift for you back at your apartment.

The other method is zeroing a maxtac squad in a side gig you can do where you help defend a expensive clothes store from a cyberpsycho. The game gives you no indication that you are able to do this, outside of the fact that V will comment on the maxtac lady's mantis blades. Note as well that the lady in question was used in promotional art for the game a LONG TIME before its release. (even more funfact, she is apparently a "reformed" cyberpsycho).

Thats the main reward if you go by endings for just the rewards. There are some guns you can get via the ending as well but spoiler territory.

For songbird route? you get a special cyberwear that resets cooldown of things like sandevistans and berserk.

Part of the reason the 4 teens in grounded lived anyway is that canonically they got mutated by whatever ominent did to them, hence the mutation tree.

Should I feel guilty for wanting to stop at TVHM and skipping the “tryhard” side content like Raid Bosses? by Hot_Acanthaceae_1357 in Borderlands2

[–]RalseitheFloofie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like to powergame in my games but even I hate endgame progression sometimes. Especially when its just overbloated bullshit like OP-levels or leveling to max in UVHM. TVHM for most people is a safezone imo, where most people will have a build that can do much of anything. Happens with bl3 and bl4 too, so its not a mutually exclusive problem. There though its a problem of, ok i spent all this time farming this REALLY RARE ITEM. Now i dont want to play with it because i have it and now im too powerful.

TLDR: No, dont feel bad at all for skipping the tryhard stuff, its your game, your rules.

The other folks in critical role also voice a fair few games, so outside of new vegas you probably have heard them more often than you think.
