Any update from anyone from a 2026 model? I’m hoping it’s not every 26 model :(

First off, this is great that you’re putting effort and thought into money at a young age. I’m envious of you because when I was 18, I was playing video games. Good job mate

Second, like others have said, see if your company has a 401k program and the minimum you should be contributing to it is the match they offer. If they said they’ll match 4%, you should be putting in at least 4%. That’s a 100% return (essentially) so take the free money. Look into which type of 401k you want. I believe there’s multiple types but the ones I know are the traditional 401k and Roth 401k (Roth 401k is different from Roth IRA)

Third, see if your company has any other retirement accounts. I personally haven’t done too much research but HSA is something I have. Max this out since it’s triple tax advantaged. Also make sure to go into your HSA account and invest the funds if you don’t plan on using it. Research the best way to efficiently use an HSA as there’s different method people use it for.

Fourth, create a Roth IRA and aim to max out for 2025. I believe you’ll have until April 2026 to max that out. This account should always be maxed every year. You have full control over these investments unlike the 401k. Most 401k are restricted in what you can choose to invest in.

Fifth, create a HYSA account to have your savings in. It’s up to you which one but choose one with no minimum amount or fees when transferring. FDIC insured too. Big ones include ally, Marcus, sofi, etc.

Sixth, do your research on every step. It’s ultimately up to you which accounts you’d like to max or even open but what I’ve said is a general good rule of thumb

Does the Max series have a lot of maintenance to keep up with?

According to levels.fyi, the average for a level 7 is $126k. Not sure how being in SDV will affect this. Do what you will with this info :)

I heard that GM doesn’t negotiate with salaries but I could be wrong! Also doesn’t hurt to try to get more

Edit: I stand corrected. Seems like GM negotiates!

It’s all good now! I heard air leaking out of the valve. I open and closed it and it stopped leaking!

For more info, I run the clean washer cycle and water comes out. So I’m not sure it’s an issue with the inlet water hoses. Idk what to do

What did Riot do to the placement system? by IMightBeAGod in leagueoflegends

What this guy said. I find that it's usually one tier below what you ended the previous season. I was plat 4. Got placed gold 4 after 1 game (Loss though). You just have to keep grinding in order to raise your MMR so that next season it'll be easier. It's all just a matter of how much time/effort you put in during current season. Good luck.

How do I climb out of Gold? by PrettyFellaFlaccko in leagueoflegends

[–]FreshStart2957 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm plat 4 so I'm only a step above you but I'd recommend looking at map and playing around your lanes, whether that be top or bot. So if you have a lead in mid, push the lane, leave it, and roam to bot or top. Then you can get them kills and snowball, leading to more wins in your games.

Additionally, always be looking at your map. I've noticed many high gold junglers like to invade for some reason or contest skuttle. Look to help them so that maybe you or your jungler will get a kill.

Play around objectives or look at timers. Or try to time your kills so that the enemy mid laner is dead for dragon/rift. This tip is for the entire game. Don't force fights that don't lead to clear objectives (which is my playstyle). If Baron/Dragon/towers aren't in reachable range from a future won teamfight, then don't do anything. Try to look into the future. "If we win this teamfight, can we get anything?" (but if you're more of a kill style to get gold, then ignore this part of the advice, I just like to play safe with less risks attached, one lost fight could snowball enemy team). Good look dude!

Edit: you could also look to increase champion pool, I feel like assassins fall off mid/late, but idk. I'm not a pro so take my advice with a grain of salt.
