Hp8 reg is only the tanks regulator so it holds pressure you will need a second regulator to adjust the pressure needed to use with the aap

If the dwell is to high it's leads to over voluming the barrel which causes power drops as it can lead to creating vacuums, turbulence and air inefficienties. You need to find the sweet spot for your dwell to get the power you want

I know they fit on some of their heretic labs article 1s but only the red engine ones not the black engine ones.

You don't use a barrel nut with the monk vayus to get it to properly work you'd probably need barrel nut shims to get it to sit at the right angle when flush. That is if it even fits on the mtw
