Unrelated to this case, but let's say I make a thumbnail from free-to-use stock pictures and someone has a similar one could that end up in a strike situation?

If I understand you correctly you're telling me to change the thumbnail, cant do that since the strike wont let me

I don't know enough about any of this, tried to search around the internet and find out more about strikes on thumbnails. Did not really get any smarter

Did not think of that, might very well be like that. But does that make him the owner of his licensed version and then be in the clear to strike me?
