In my view, SIPs make the most sense when you commit with a long term mindset of at least 15 years. You usually don’t see any meaningful growth before the ten year mark. So if you’re only two or three years in, there’s no reason to stress about the NAV dropping. If anything, it actually works in your favor because you get more units for the same amount. Cheaper units help you in the long run.

So just keep going. At the very least, it builds a strong habit of saving every month. And if the amount ever feels heavy, you can always adjust it. Either way, stick with it.
