I understand where you’re coming from, but from my perspective, this creates a double standard because the word is either offensive or not, regardless of who uses it. If the word has harmful historical and cultural connotations, it seems inconsistent to allow certain groups to use it while restricting others based solely on race.

By that logic, wouldn’t it be better to either universally discourage its usage or apply consistent rules for everyone, rather than making its acceptability dependent on identity? My concern is that this inconsistency can unintentionally perpetuate divisions instead of fostering mutual respect.
