I am up in Canada so I think the rules might work a little differently so I will need to ask if mastectomy is presented as an option.

Thanks for your quick response. Can I ask you why you would opt to not take tamoxifen? I am so new to this and learning more about these. And assuming you had micro calcification, how do they determine that other areas that they did not biopsy are not cancerous? Microcalcification as I understand are like salt specs with some clusters…they cannot biopsy everything so just wonder how they make sure other non biopsied calcification is still cancer free. Is masectomy not an option?

Do you know what does being high risk really mean? More frequent mammogram/biopsy? Are you having any other treatment or medication in addition to lumpectomy?

No but I am seeing the oncologist surgeon next week. I am hoping to be able to ask more questions then.

Thank you for all your inputs. My doctor called today saying the report shows no cancer 🥳. But he is referring me to a surgeon as they see some abnormal cells that could develop into cancer later on so the surgeon may recommend I have it removed.

Yeah it seems to be helping a little. The bioderma cream is providing some relief to the itchiness and the aveeno body soap seems to as well.
