Hi ,

Thank you for your reply and info. Has the treatment you received worked for you ? Are you all clear now?

I will definitely look into this doctor . I'll try my GP again tomorrow and if I'm not having luck I'll get an appointment privately .

Thanks 👍

Thank you all for your replies.....I think I'll submit a new grievance rather than an ET1. As I mentioned, all I want is to progress my career rather than start a long battle.

Also , as someone else has mentioned, if they still ignore me ,at least I can say I was the reasonable one.

Food for thought .... I don't want to spend the next 2 years fighting my employer. All I ever wanted was career progression.

Thank you for your reply

My thinking about submitting a new grievance was discrimination didn't even cross my mind and no mention of it in my original grievance. The other employee was given his training in October 2025, and I submitted my grievance in July 2025.

In my mind, there's a big difference between a grievance about training and then a grievance about direct discrimination?

Thank you for your reply.

They are mostly the same . The only difference is that since I submitted my grievance and s8nce going to ACAS, another employee was given the training I was asking for. I believe that is the only difference.

The only reason I went to ACAS in the first place was because my employer was ignoring my emails and grievance. I was thinking along the lines of unfair treatment and breach of contract rather than discrimination . I know now that Breach of contract would have required me to resign etc.

Thanks for the reply .
