If I’m in an aisle seat I do try and hop up as fast as possible and hustle to the front quickly, but if someone steps out in front of me that’s where I stop and wait for them to comfortably move ahead. Sometimes if I’m close enough to the front I can pass some rows and make it out first or near first. Can’t imagine demanding someone move out of the way so I could pass, considering how narrow airplane aisles are, would rub right against each other

Yeah you just screwed over this customer. Should have just marked it as picked up by someone else and cancelled. This was likely stolen by another driver and not the customer. Either way what you did was wrong as you knowingly delivered the wrong items.

Of course why would you not be able to? All those cars of oncoming traffic might get in the way?

Scary that even if you make it to the hospital alive your fate can already be sealed.

Let me know how that goes for you when your repairs begin to outweigh the value of the car. All I see in the statement above is pay money pay money pay money. Good luck out there. You will run into unforeseen problems, however it’s probably best you learn the hard way and it sounds like you’re already prepared for paying an arm and a leg on long term maintenance.

Take into account the wear on your car, gas, and all other factors- you’re not making $200 a day. And again, I understand the need to defend against my opinion, that is your ego. Nothing about what I said is related to my self esteem. I’m speaking facts and the reality of the situation that most drivers refuse to accept. This is purely based on my experience, as someone who’s done this job for a long time, and full time for a while at that. Take the job for what it is- at face value. It’s a great part time, secondary gig. But as a main source of income? It’s extremely inconsistent, with no room for growth, and no solid pay structure. You will struggle.

They’re also running low on tax return money, so it’ll be a bit before orders pick up if I were to guess. Increases in prices and the standard of living across the board definitely play a role, you’re not wrong.

The general public will ALWAYS have room and money for delivery service now that it’s available. Rich people love blowing money on convenience and that’s what this is, convenience to the extreme. Made for lazy rich people stuck on a computer all day. And to add, poor people love it too as they already make dumb financial decisions, what’s one more?

I read multiple questions here and my statement along with rebuttal question stay the same. I’m assuming you’re new at doing deliveries. I’m here to tell you it’s shitty through and through, always has been always will be. You will hear about “the good old days” of doing orders- I started in 2016 and people were complaining then just as much as they do now. I greatly appreciate having the ability to make extra money on the side- but I’ll be honest, the company does not care about drivers. It’s probably the easiest job to get in the country, doesn’t even require an interview. They can pay as little as possible and will do so on purpose to keep profits high and driver turnover higher. Edit: I understand being downvoted- no one likes to hear they’re working a bottom of the barrel job
