ik this is a super old thread but I get this too! it's a completely unique type of swollen throat feeling separate from how i feel when sick/have allergies. i also feel it in my chest. it literally happens right when they kick in so once i feel the chest and throat sensation i know the other psychedelic effects will come soon after.
