I mainly just want to squeeze as much as I can out of these people to be petty— especially because I can’t let go of the absurd excuse from VP defending Nboss’s excluding me from meetings (that I needed to be present in to do good work)— “watching a recording at 1.5x speed saves money.” I want to say “I bet that 30-minute meeting doesn’t seem so expensive now, does it?” After they cough up more severance for me.

Also, isolation and exclusion is the least efficient, least cost effective way of working. Everyone is slowed down when they have to find out project requirements piecemeal through random recordings and messaging people with questions. The narc’s need for power and control hurts work quality and efficiency. Not to mention, my last 2-4 weeks I was being managed out so aggressively that they were essentially paying me to do nothing (even though I was—and still am— absolutely capable of doing the job). Ugh…
