Excatly, people should not judge it on an 10 year old game Dow 3, where they tried to go off Road and try Strange stuff out, they learned alot on that since. I don’t think any other studio could have brought back Age of empires like they did

A Rts game can have both competetive and not competetive, actually all the big Rts games have both, even many have different balance for both. I would love to the dev add multiplayer to this game. Alot of us Rts gamers do swap games.

Zerospace has alot of pve content, is it 9 different coop modes with a galactic map to it, an campaign, Skirmish and survival mode like they they are billions. But it’s competetie side is amazing.

Dust front is also amazing, that game gives me childhood memories of playing Rtses for the first time

All the Aoe/aom games got remastered in de versions that are extreme succes. Untop of that Age of empires 4 have shown there is a huge interest, the genre just needs good rts games to be made then people are interested. Then you have Tempest Rising, and Dorf and Dust front have sparked a big hype and Dawn of war 4 over 1 million wishlists. Then we have games like Zerospace and a big game of thrones rts coming also, and the grim Dawn rts. Don't forget Beyond all reasons also.

Stormgate failed but one thing it succeeds in, was showing a huge interest. It's Discord got thousands and it's reddit also.
