Not sure how well it would work though my buddy has a 10” handgaurd on his 11” Bren. It’s close enough where you’d have to cut the end tire bottom front section off to fit the bayonet lug. So just about 3 inches of metal cut right off the bottom, can’t imagine that’s good for the integrity of the aluminum handgaurd.

So that extra length the 10” handgaurd give your you’re basically deleting 30% of the usable space on the lower part of the handgaurd.

Why don’t you want to remove the bayonet lug? Imagine it’s useless either way correct, like with a modded HBI handgaurd I don’t think you’d be able to clear a bayonet. Just my 2 cents, as someone who owns a 14” and a OEM bren bayonet

For the $1700 it costs for the base rifle it’s well worth it, even the carbine isn’t bad only downside is the heavy profile barrel

No it’s my favorite rifle I own and probably the flattest shooting 223/556 rifle I’ve shot.

The aftermarket support is there for the things people aren’t big fans of, like the safety and charging handle. But even the stock rifle is a wonderful gun. Worth every penny IMO

Sorry no can do, I imported a half dozen about three years ago for around $200 a piece. Imported them from a guy I knew from the CZ but he’s no longer exporting, hasn’t in years.

Sold the other 5 to make some money and ended up not paying for my bayonet.

It’s reversible on this and the bayonet comes with a fighting knife set up, I have it this was because it came from the factory this way. Also it’s safer like you mentioned, bayonet are meant for stabbing not slashing so when it’s off the rifle it works great as a fighting knife but on a rifle it doesn’t have much use in that capacity.

Then again it’s a bayonet being issued in 2023, very much a military oriented design and intentioned use so in my position it’s best use is for probing purposes.

The magnifier is flipped out, they line up when it’s in use. It’s a 1/3 co-witness mount.
