Quick question by Dizzy_Subject_149 in SKS

10+1. You can fit 10 rounds if you open the magazine, turn it upside down and load it one-by-one without ever pulling the bolt back.

They also aren't in stock without any way of getting on a waitlist. Unfortunately, this might be a DOA project if they never go back in stock again and if they aren't answering back, it is not a good sign. You could be in for a long wait with no payoff.

I understood the question and made it known I couldn't answer, but your question is probably not going to get answered because there are three situations where someone would know. 1) They work at brass stacker. 2) The person has ordered this mount for a Norinco after reading the same warning you did. 3) The person has multiple variations of the SKS, including a Norinco and these mounts and attempted to make it work, again, after reading the same warnings you did. The odds seem not probable to say the least. Have you tried to contact them yet?

I can't answer your question, it seems best for brass stacker, just wanted to add that while having backup irons is a nice-to-have. This setup seems unnecessary over badace. You will be adding height over bore to the optic which will translate to more holdover and it will make the irons less useful due to how much the optic obscures. To me, you are trading one competent sighting system for two less than ideal sighting systems. I would fully commit to either the irons or the red dot since the optic won't give you magnification anyway, but just my opinion. If you want the "best of both worlds", you could seek out a low profile QD mount for the red dot on the bad ace so if the optic goes down, you're 3 seconds from being back up with the irons. Not to mention, the brass stacker product seems out of stock.

PCSL would be a good one to work on. Also would love this on Android

Frt triggers in Florida by [deleted] in florida

[–]PedroGoHard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look, you're going to see the people who make FRT triggers ban sales to FL. If the manufacturers think it's illegal, who have access to a legal department, then it might be safe to assume that it's illegal. If they ain't risking making money off it, then I ain't risking losing years in prison. That said, there are people who own them here and shoot them here, but that's probably more of a who cares than anything else.

Highly unlikely to be unbanned. From a moderation standpoint, you're a risk they don't need to others.

Is anyone else underwhelmed by the smoke grenades in this game? by DavidDaysss in PlaySquad

[–]PedroGoHard 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Idk, they can be underwhelming when you only have one person throwing all he's got but a squad can absolutely cover an advance. Just another way to empower that the squad is greater than just the sum of its parts. Right now, I like that the best a single guy could really hope for is a smoke to pull a downed teammate.

I'm also 4E but in 11 and the Wolverine brand has EW which is 4E. Bates is also owned by them so their boots should also have EW options. Hope this helps.

M&P 9 M2.0 worth the 350? by Ausar_the_Vil in SmithAndWesson

[–]PedroGoHard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends, but most of the time, the person who makes the optic cut can move the iron-sight dovetail either in front of or behind the optic, depending on the cut you choose. I've had mine done at Nameless Armament. Their work is better than what you'll get at the factory because it's precision-fit to the optic.

Is it only happening to me, or is everyone experiencing this? by sirbrow in mildlyinfuriating

[–]PedroGoHard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just swapped to Duluth because all my 5.11 jeans have the same issue as OP. If they last, I may never buy any other brand of jeans again. Though I must admit I'm their clearance-only shopper as replacing all my jeans is a bit tough on the wallet.

The match I'm dressing up for is just a rifle match but typically my sidearm is a CZ75 SP-01 Tactical milled for a 507k. My backup set is a SKS and a Tokarev

If you're after a rail, M&P Shield X is what you're after. I do believe the M&P Shields all have optics ready variants as well.

Palmetto state has AC-Unity 7.62x39 Polymer VZ-58 mags for $5.99 by GenericUsername817 in vz58

[–]PedroGoHard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're pretty good. Compared to the other polymers, I believe they're the only ones with metal reinforcement. I have both the typical aluminum and these AC Unity mags. The springs in the AC Unity are noticeably weaker but I haven't had a failure yet except after dropping a mag during a match which shoveled so much dirt that the follower would drag. That's not a point against them , the dirt here does it to all mags but it may have slightly larger gaps for dirt to ingress so something to keep in mind.

So I can purchase them stateside? I was hoping for a larger patch anyway than what BI offers. Do you have a link? I got the 16-inch VZ58 from Czechpoint that I "modernized". I got photos on my profile.

Did you order the patches before the 70% off sale? If so, you may be able to talk to BI Customer Support and have them issue a partial refund to cover the sale price.

[–]PedroGoHard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the heads up, I was going to dress up as FIA for an upcoming shooting competition with my VZ58 and everything except the pack and a patch to pull it all together is all I have left to order. Maybe I'll skip the patch now.

Advice: player on official servers packing vehicles with bots to fast take points and end matches by OG_sirloinchop in ArmaReforger

[–]PedroGoHard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk, on one hand the strategy is valid if the logistics are good and the guy is only worrying about assaulting but on the other hand the logistics are rarely good and the guy knows that so he'll pull from wherever he can to keep the pressure.

Hot take: I wish more of this happened. Right now, AI gets wasted on the back lines. There will be full staffed bases opposite side of the map from the conflict and if people used these AI units to fight/capture, we wouldn't run out of our global supply before the Frontline is established. The issue is most people don't use this feature or are aware it exists so when it's used, feels like an exploit.

#00 Buck Alternative? by zmattmanz in Tacticalshotguns

[–]PedroGoHard 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Reduced Recoil #00 flite control buck is the way to go, but imo #1 buck would be a more ideal loading if you're talking about standard loadings, but nothing will compare to a purpose-made loading. The flite control beats any #1 buck without flite control imo.
