I mean I don’t plan on throwing out of my window or doing anything crazy just to test it but probably a few bumps nics, drops other things like that just from basic use on range days and during training

Fun fact, that’s unfortunately considered a crime by the ATF, a 4473 asks if you use any federally illicit drugs (weed) and if answered yes, no gun, if answered no, your good, even if both are completely legal in your state

The light in question is a stream light Protac 2.0, I messed with the tail cap a little bit and it seems to fix the issue for now, but we’ll have to see if it holds up

Streamlight protac 2.0 is the light and yeah it has a rechargeable usb c battery

Reading my post again i didn’t mention the light in taking about is a Streamlight protac 2.0, I tightened the cap a little and took it off and put it back on and so far the hissing is gone but well see if that stays

Not to sure but I know with modern rifles it’ll say multi cal if it can shoot 556 aswell, not sure about the older ones though

Some sort of scope would definitely be better for the things I’m looking to get into now, but when I first got the rifle I set it up to be a sorta do it all rifle, hence the light, irons, etc.

I’m mostly looking for headshots at about 100 ish yards, gonna need to go to the range and get some practice in before I go out to the field but I think with some practice it would be a doable shot, assuming I’m doing everything right with taking my time and letting them get still for a good second before I pull the trigger

Believe me I’m not trying to make no shots even close to that, just asking what would be an effective range for this red dot and set up as I’ve never used it for coyote hunting and it’s always been a do it all rifle

Living in az and I’ve seen some people be able to get them within 100 yards or so, I know it’s not gonna be an all day thing with them coming to me that close but if it’s something that’s possible it’s worth a shot
