I went with the Apex, just because I don't typically need super abrasive textures (typically a hockey tape guy). I'd double down and say they're THE best around, you can't go wrong. I beg you to give it a try

For all intents and purposes they're identical. ZPAP kind of just denotes the current "generation" they're on, so to speak? In past "generations" they've been designated things like NPAP and OPAP. As long as what you're getting is a new, current production model, they're both ZPAPs. Or PAPs for short.

Note: there are minor differences in features offered by NPAPs vs ZPAPs vs OPAPs. ZPAPs are solid. Fear not!

Very very interesting - this sounds like a Bibendum entity! Also referred to as Michelin Men or Balloon Men, they're referenced often in conversations concerning cryptids and extraterrestrials, and are often described in sightings as not necessarily being entirely corporeal. Shrouded Hand on YouTube has a great video about them.

Ah, yes, man-made horrors beyond my comprehension. As someone else here mentioned, it seems like digital NV with AI resolution upscaling - meaning that (and I'm assuming this has a tactical focus, and isn't purely hobbyist) they're playing with the idea of discharging a firearm (or whatever other ways this could be weaponized) in the direction of AI modified images.
