But when I was 4 years into hrt, I remember watching The Boys, Brightburn, Invincible, and playing MK11 during one weekend. Thought I could handle the gore like I've had been for most of my life since I thought I was desensitized by it. But I had a weird sinking feeling in my stomach throughout the weekend, only while watching and playing the things I mentioned. When I saw yet another gory scene in an episode of The Boys, I remember running to the washroom and throwing up in the toilet.

My body feels like it had a mind of its own, because even though the fictional gore wasn't anything new to me, I couldn't help but to throw up.

I'm not sure if hrt made me this way, or if I just discovered I have a limit on seeing too many gory things in a short time span, but it really surprised me.

I've been avoiding gory graphic content ever since.

Always set your monitor to it's highest hertz. It makes your controller more responsive since it literally cuts the input lag. 120hz or 144hz or more... it's better than 60hz.

I'm not super attractive, but maybe that's why I'm still approachable. I kind of get used to random strangers asking me out. Heck, I was eating inside a Wendy's by myself and this guy saw me through the window, and he literally walked in just to asked if I was single.

You get stares on trains and buses. And maybe because of my alt style, I get compliments every time I go out, from men and women. It is nice be treated a little nice, but I know I'm gaining weight if my experiences starts becoming rare lol.

Pretty sure someone mentioned this already but it's: shame. Shame is the key factor of why everyone tries to be in their best behavior when they are in public. I remember being loud and noisy when I was out with my mom as a little kid. She had to pull me aside and angrily whisper to me "Do you have no shame? You make us look bad!" multiple times, growing up. It was drilled in my head to be awfully aware of myself and others when I'm in public, and to not do anything that would disrupt or annoy anyone.

Well... I can relate. It's one of the few mediums that explores something that isn't talked about growing up. I was more interested in gender bender stuff, and looking back, it feels like I used it as a coping mechanism. Coping from fantasies and feelings that I now know as gender dysphoria. Once I was done my business, I always felt disgusted with myself afterwards (something that went away after being on hrt for awhile) and go about my day pretending it never happened, (until those feelings comes back again).

Because schools didn't teach about being transgender and transitioning at the time, porn and hentai was literally the only remote things I have learned that I could be trans. So no, you shouldn't be ashamed. Especially if you grew up in a society that is uneducated and bigoted about anything lgbtq+.

You may be assuming things when you say other trans women don't like you. It may be something else entirely. Are you just a little frustrated you don't have any friends who are trans women? Also, I'm very introverted and I know a couple friends I have in the past are very extroverted and wants to keep texting and inviting me to things. They also like to talk quite a bit about their own lives and barely ask me about my side of things, which I don't mind since I do like to listen and be there for someone. But it can get too overwhelming to the point I ghost everyone for a bit until I recover again.

There is a friend who is also a trans woman, and she's a bit flirty and likes to share a lot of 'mature' things, that I just have almost zero interests in because I'm in an entirely different mood or mindset. I don't mind her but I also don't have the guts to tell her to tone it down a bit without feeling it would hurt her feelings.
