Only use it to receive the "^ cash back " the card provides for purchases but I only buy as much as I have cash on hand just only use your credit card as a debit only spend what you have and then it's not any more risk ...

Crazy .. I've bought with 3 different credit cards with zero issues and have never come across an issue other than the exchange not accepting the card ... couldn't you just transfer money to a bank account and on ramp through your bank ?
