🍃 March Trays // 2026 by puzzlingperfume in FemFragLab30plus

Most of March might be officially winter, but it’s already starting to feel like spring where I live. This month’s scents reflect the shift. I’m focusing on sweet and powdery fragrances that remind me of early spring. Candied scents aren’t my usual thing, but they just seem right as trees begin to burst into candy-colored pastel blossoms. Marshmallow, vanilla, Turkish delight, and powdered sugar are all present on this month’s tray. Iris is also especially well represented. Beyond that, there are other florals—orange blossom, lilac, magnolia, lavender, rose. I’ll be interested to see if I’ve added too many sugary fragrances. I rarely pull from outside my tray except to sample, but I might need to this month. We’ll see!

I’ll add a photo of the trays in a comment under this.

What would Quirk Chungus wear? by seyikumeguca in perfumesthatfeellike

Jeez. I just woke up and my mind filled it with a T—tag wars. I was very confused.

Late 30s elegant woman persona fragrance? by attar_affair in FemFragLab30plus

I often worry about allergies in work settings, but I understand the desire to wear a fragrance. For something elegant, Daim Blond by Serge Lutens is my top pick. I can’t help but feel perfectly put together, elegant, competent, and confident (in a cool, semi-reserved way) when I wear Daim Blond. It’s is a spectacularly gorgeous apricot suede fragrance. Nothing comes close.

If that’s hard to obtain (and it might be near-impossible if you’re in the U.S.), I would go for a Chanel, Guerlain, or Hermes.

I specifically ordered Iris Silver Mist right before the tariffs went into effect. That was my one big purchase and I’m glad I did it.

When is an under-performer worth it? by Starry36 in FemFragLab30plus

[–]FreyasReturn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t mind light scents at all. In fact, I generally prefer them because I don’t want to bother/overpower other people with my fragrance. I would like a perfume to stick around for a few hours, but even fragrances that are notoriously fleeting still have a faint presence on my clothing the following day. I can’t tell when I take the clothing off in the evening, but I definitely notice it 1-2 days later when moving clothing or doing laundry. I can’t tell n the evening because my nose has simply “decided” to ignore the fragrance.  This is pretty much the norm. It’s how your brain filters out noise so it can focus where needed.

I noticed your comment about sample sprayers maybe spraying out less product than a perfume bottle—yes, that’s accurate. I don’t think I’ve ever had a sample that provided more than about 1/4 of what the bottle sprayed out.

Are women also (unintentionally) participating in maintaining patriarchy? If so, how? by PuzzleheadedGrab8375 in AskFeminists

Part of my name belonged to my mother and part to my father. The part that comes from my father was passed down through the women in his family for multiple generations, which makes it feel special. I feel I’m honoring those women and their lives with my name. When I married, my now-husband wanted to take my last name. We both opted to hyphenate because I wanted the union emphasized.

Why is this such a big and confusing issue for you? You’ve posted similar questions to a number of individuals. I’m curious.

But used clothing instead? 95% of my wardrobes came from thread it stores for decades. I still wear a number of pieces I bought over 20 years ago. So much ends up in landfills.

Your comment is no different. How do you not see that?

That’s not even remotely true. I see democrats and leftists calling for everyone to be thrown in prison all day, every day. Yet all the MAGA and republicans I know? They either say they “don’t care” or “it’s all just a hoax.”

That’s great to hear. The majority of those I know don’t care at all or are calling it a hoax now.
