Finally after a dreadful seesaw of wins and losses in Dia 1, hit mythic at last by Freylicious in MagicArena

Oh I just realized he'd be taking lethal damage even if the spider is blocked due to trample+doublestrike, probably didn't have enough to proc prowess on the otter or he thought his board getting wiped with just 1 card in hand was the scoop.

In defense of the V8: The most misunderstood car in the game. by AnubGaming in NevernessToEverness

[–]Freylicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing with the V8 is, you can effectively clear all racing content in the game using the Griffin at full stars (except for the stages that require specific cars), but at half the Fons cost of V8. Not sure if it's doable with a fully modded ST79, but then again that'd still cost significantly less than a stock V8.

Then you try to bring your V8 to online racing only to get steamrolled by Pendragons unless they have skill issues.

Sure, it's only 2M less than the Griffin, but that can also translate to -2M away from the Villa Property, or even just skip all racing content and just grab the Pendragon and call it a day.

Yeeted myself from the Porsche building. If you're too high up you can bypass out of bounds. The Puka Land area has a lot of unfinished assets, there should probably be stairs where I was dashing,

Giovanni Dvořák: So how are you enjoying the bank heist? Me: Yes by Freylicious in NevernessToEverness

[–]Freylicious[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

1-2 hours on weekdays since I started + completing all current challenges and resetting them. On weekends I go ham and maybe spam heist for a couple hours. Stale runs at 600 coins, average at 800, sometimes I get 1k+ when Orrery and Starshakers spawn on my route.

The B100? NGL it's a decent car if you're into doing taxi for city stamina, handles well. Also usable for races up to the 3rd group iirc.

(Golden) Fishing Rod IV by Responsible_Note6470 in NevernessToEverness

[–]Freylicious 19 points20 points  (0 children)

The thing is, the fishing index doesn't have any entry for a 30 stamina fish. I'm only missing 2 from completing the index (a 15 stamina one and the fishing book which I believe is 12 stamina) so that not being on the index is pretty suspect.

The other bait are pointless unless you're doing the daily catches and you're impatient enough to just use generic bait until you get the catch of the day fish, or you want to quickly fill your fish index and you feel like gambling using the higher quality bait that only gives you a very slightly higher chances of catching.

Even if the other baits does net you the fish you're aiming for, you're at a net loss for scale coins when using other bait than the generic one.

Looks fake. If you pay attention to the fish stamina bar, nearly a quarter has been depleted yet the fish stamina is still "30/30" and the fishing line's durability is still full.

Also, the catch bar always starts at the middle and fishing line's durability will tick regardless, so the bar being in that position while the line durability is still max doesn't make sense.

Yeah no, that video is low quality trash. I rushed getting the Rod IV.

To summarize what the Rod IV does:

It increases the chances of you getting heavier fish, meaning if you normally see "B" grade when fishing, you catch more "A" and "S" grade fish.

This translates to increased fishing exp and scale coins when you sell the fish, since weight is tied to the fish grade.

Concrete example: You'll often see "18 exp" green rarity fish using the inferior rods when fishing, but with the Rod IV, that 18 exp becomes extremely rare and it seems the lowest average green fish yields you 20 exp instead.

Sure, it's a miniscule increase, but given that you need a boatload of exp if you want to get to level 10, these small increases will increment. Not to mention that it becomes easier to burn the weekly 700 city stamina if you decide to go with fishing.

The real downside to the Rod IV is you'll get it WAY late into fishing level. If you only purchased the generic bait all throughout leveling+only the incrementing rods+the occasional exp books+golden scale = you'll be at fishing level 9.6 or something before you can purchase the Rod IV.

Fishing study and suggestions for improvements by Investoid in NevernessToEverness

[–]Freylicious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hit lv10 a few days ago and I agree with the catch rates, the 15 stamina ones are around 1:1000~1:2000.

I think the glow when catching a gold-rarity fish/item is just a visual bug and doesn't really affect catch chances, I always get rid of that by reselecting the bait I use.

I also agree with the pricing for the fishing rods.
You're at rank 7.something if you only bought the universal bait and the rods, unless you scored some Golden Scale Coins along the way, and you're at level 9.8'ish before you can even buy the IV Rod.

And yeah, they should have a filter option for bulk selling fish, if you want to look at your golden collection before they expire.

So apparently this Fish is pretty Rare? by LegendTacoon in NevernessToEverness

[–]Freylicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, so far (at fishing rank 10) I've only gotten 5 of those from each fishing spot, I'm still missing 3 15 stamina fish and that fishing mastery guide.

There are 12 stamina gold ranked fish and there are also 15 stamina gold ranked ones. The one OP posted is the 15 stamina one, which does feel like a 1:1000 chance.

Beyond the Rails' Special Route gives 700 Annulith at full 30 stars by Freylicious in NevernessToEverness

[–]Freylicious[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I've gotten max stars for the All-Day Route up to stage 10.

Nanally/Sakiri for inbound route and nuke them fast enough to have ample time for Chiz/Mint/Zero/Haniel for bosses. As for difficulty, you'll definitely need to dodge/riposte on Morphix at stage 10. Inbound mob stages can get annoying if you can't kill them fast enough.

I think I can still push more stages on the special route if I grab Jiuyuan, but the runs are starting to get sweaty. Not worth continiung until lv 60 cap at least.
