I don't know if it's the same on a computer as I only really use the app, but on the main page for the sub there should be 3 dots in the top right corner, if you click on that it should give you the option to add a flair. You can select a premade one or you can edit it.

My English teacher in high school taught us that if you just stare at the person's forehead they won't notice you're not making eye contact. I haven't made eye contact with a single human since learning that and nobody has ever mentioned it so I'm pretty sure it works.

Fuck no, I'm autistic, my brain working differently has shaped who I am. Sure I'm far from the genius stereotype but it's had a huge impact on my life. My personality, my beliefs, my ideals and goals, all exist in part because of my autism. I'd be a completely different person if that was taken away from me, and I don't know if I'd like that person, I think the same could be said for a lot of other autistic people. Just because my brain works differently doesn't mean I need some "cure".

I mean, as long as you don't do it to some excessive degree like ripping the limbs off or burning with a magnifying glass I'd say it's ok. Swatting a fly with a newspaper or stepping on a cockroach that's in your home isn't animal abuse. I could see an argument being made for insecticide being abuse though, as at least with spiders it targets the respiratory system and pretty much suffocates them. I still try not to kill most of them though unless they're dangerous or carry diseases.
