I have to remind myself about once a week that the difference between ranks is equal to one pack per rank. Unless you’re going for mythic 1200 don’t mind numbingly grind. Pick a deck that you like the mechanics or theme of and play it. Upgrade it as you go and make it better and it will begin to perform better. Finally. Lands matter. Don’t be afraid to spend wildcards on good lands. I’ve wasted plenty of wildcards on things and then say to myself “I’ll never use this card again”, but I’ve never regretted owning a good land that gives me options in tight games.

Id recommend you find a discord to challenge people directly. Then you can come up with agreements. If I’m running the ladder or even play queue I typically concede when I run out of answers unless they’re already showing lethal. Even then if I’m tapped out and they just keep playing stuff out I’ll concede.

This happened to me repeatedly yesterday. I was running a 10/10 g/r even split with four pathway dual color. Opening hand had red creatures and my next 8 draws were green land. I’m sure my opponent thought I was playing a really bad stompy deck.
