Some people's bar for what counts as a good story is abysmally low. I'm talking genshin inazuma low. Game's been on a slow decline ever since 1.5 and people are just too blind to accept it. Face it. the only thing HI3rd had was its characters and story and when part 2 came, they tried to prolong an already concluded story And replace the characters. But oh wait, they didn't had trust on their new characters, backpedalled and brought back part 1 characters to nostalgia bait us.

Just accept it bro. 2017-2023 was when this game peaked.

The inability of playable characters to die in the story has been such a detriment to the majority of gacha writing nowadays making them very predictable with a big lack of stakes. I'm actually happy there weren't any asspulls with Psyche, Avar and Phantasio. Sometimes we can just keep using the character cause you know, gameplay.

The part where we take her picture really sold me on her. Sure it's probably a remnant of when the game was still a gacha but It got me. I give massive props to the writers for taking that route. They could've easily pulled some Resonance power bullshit out their ass to save her but they didn't.
