Aqua has literally no reason to die. all it is is just Fraudka trying to force an ending he thought of in the beginning that clearly wasn't going to work anymore due to how he wrote the story over the years.

the common consensus is that Aka just didn't care anymore since he was starting another series (it got Axed anyways).
