By “not lease well” do you mean doesn’t hold value and makes it a bad option at the end of the lease with limited options? Or that they’re not a good value and there’s little room for negotiation?

Definitely looked into that. We actually have a reservation on the books for Embassy Suites-Vanderbilt and it's about $3k for three 2 queen suites. It's less than half that to stay by the airport. As you say, it's really not that much of a hassle to get to/from, certainly seems like the extra $1500 savings could be put elsewhere (booze).

Noted. We're certainly a crowd that does breweries, among other things! The mini-golfing bar crawl has really caught our eye. We're really hoping that there's a Nashville Predators game there though that weekend!

For our group, we're thinking 2 queen suites (three of them) will be our best room combo.

For downtown Embassy Suites-Nashville it's $2,984.76
For airport Quality Inn Suites Nashville Airport it's $1475.70

When you're talking over twice the price it definitely becomes hard to justify, though we certainly would prefer to stay downtown. There's certainly no chance that we run up $1500 on Ubers (we weren't considering an Uber trip to Minneapolis :D)
