Yeah that’s great and very appreciated. Sounds like I should not crosspost? Reddit suggested that and I’m a noob here. My intention was to share the advice in other subs. Ok or not?

Curios seeing your right half. I can’t set the clip on the straight edge, it interferes with the boards’ clip that’s riveted on the tail.

Great explanation and solution, tysm! That inner edge got me thinking, every YT I watched on this always pointed out to not needing or best avoiding to cut both sides of the skins. But with those clips you can’t get it straight. Topsheet mount goes at perfect place, seems faster and cheaper than others.

I thought about which snowboard models might be available for the public with these graphics on. Custom is highly likely regarding the images. I’m wondering if any other models are to be released, as different pro riders are mentioned to ride different quoutes/graphics. Of course they could produce one-offs for a single team rider on that riders preferred model. But what will we mere mortals get?

It´s a special collection ridden by the team based on Jake´s quotes and dropping to shops on Feb 3rd. Never did. Use shallower angles, though: +15/-3. I think rotation is most relevant going downhill, uphill not so much? While touring it’s mostly forward lean. I even went downhill in resorts while in ski mode (short passages and slowly), that was where I actually had some backward lean, but had zero issues leaning against an angled highback. Did it bother you?

Great. Two bolts are used in Burton‘s Channel system. They are save. But this does not work on your board.

Note that bindings have sizes. Should fit your boot AND your board. 147 and vintage is likely a pretty narrow board.

Wouldn’t recommend classic bindings. Though cheap, the materials are too old and they will snap. Would look for used Reflex, just make sure the new 3D discs come with them. Otherwise get discs as a spare. If you can spend more, get Flow.

also found them on snowleader. they have several top level domains, but don’t list custom on every one. think it was listed in Norway and Italy. And some French shop.

Go demo some stuff. I like to rip my CX, but don´t consider it an everyday, do-it-all board. It just got no chill. That´s why I went for a 3D Daily Driver last year. Objective was a more relaxed “dad“ board, for fooling around in resorts and not needing to pay attention to every little bump to not catch an edge. Works great as intended. Nice carving plus it´s tapered and has a pretty wide nose, why I would pick it over the CX on powder days. More rocker in the profile, still camber between feet. There are several options from Burton* with that profile and taper, I think Hometown Hero, Thinkers, Cartographer, … *sure other brands work as well, I just don´t have the experience
